Internal Committees
The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the faculty comprises four internal committees. The unit's activities are structured across six main domains, forming an integrated system for developing assessment and evaluation methods, performance evaluation, and the establishment of question banks and electronic examinations. These committees cover various educational, academic, and evaluation aspects, with their objectives outlined as follows:
Publicity and Dissemination Committee
- Promoting a culture of assessment and evaluation within the faculty community.
2. Highlighting the role and significance of the unit through various media channels and on the internet via the unit’s official website.
3. Publishing periodic newsletters on the unit’s activities and those of its affiliated committees.
4. Producing annual booklets detailing the development of assessment and evaluation systems within the faculty.
5. Preparing necessary posters, print, and digital advertisements to introduce the unit, its activities, and its committees.
Question Bank Committee
1. Overseeing internal review committees and internal systems for measuring the intended learning outcomes within the faculty.
2. Providing technical supervision of the question bank system infrastructure.
3. Offering necessary support in formulating exam questions across the faculty’s academic departments.
4. Monitoring the faculty’s question bank systems.
5. Overseeing the review and update process of question banks.
6. Ensuring confidentiality and security standards for question bank operations within the faculty.
Electronic Correction and Examination Committee
- Monitoring the implementation of electronic correction procedures within the faculty.
2. Preparing statistical analysis reports on exam results.
3. Overseeing electronic grading systems within the faculty.
4. Ensuring compliance with examination environment standards, including material resource norms.
5. Establishing data recording systems for examinations.
6. Monitoring the development of examination control processes, including exam paper review, assessment of practical and applied courses, examination environment, and modern assessment methods.
7. Reviewing digital and paper-based exams in terms of format and content, with expert evaluation from the university’s Measurement and Evaluation Center and submitting reports accordingly.
Analysis, Statistics, and Performance Evaluation Committee
1. Providing necessary support for conducting statistical analyses of faculty examinations.
2. Preparing and submitting statistical analysis reports on exam results to the Measurement and Evaluation Unit.
3. Conducting periodic assessments of stakeholder satisfaction regarding the unit’s performance and activities.
4. Monitoring periodic assessments of stakeholder satisfaction concerning faculty assessment and evaluation systems and tools.
