The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education organized a fun day for children at the Mansoura University Oncology Center on Friday, March 7, 2025, in cooperation with the Resala Association.
The day was supervised by Professor Dr. Samah Ramadan Khamis, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Samah Talaat Ahmed Abu Zeid, Child Mental Health Instructor and Coordinator of the College's Convoys and Outdoor Activities.
After the reception, the activities began with interaction with the children using stick puppets and cardboard masks. The children enjoyed taking documentary photos with their families in a happy and fun atmosphere. The students then performed an enjoyable interactive theatrical performance for the children. The event included several recreational games and a variety of artistic activities, such as free coloring and the Magic Letter, which the children enjoyed, allowing them to write their own letters. The children also participated in physical activities in an atmosphere of joy, happiness, and pleasure. At the end of the day, gifts were distributed to the children.
The organizers, parents, and children expressed their great happiness with the activities, which brought joy and happiness to the place and filled the day with positive emotions. They thanked the Resala Association for their joint cooperation and the Mansoura University Oncology Center for the warm welcome.
The event reflects the commitment of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Mansoura University to activating its role in social responsibility toward sick children and their families, supporting the mental health of sick children, bringing joy and happiness to their hearts, and engaging students in volunteer activities that promote the values ​​of social solidarity and charitable work..
